Learn the ancient art of Mosaic! Bring Gaudi to your home! Learn to paint with tiles. The colors of these small 'tesserae' pieced together
are vibrant and translucent. By combining vitreous glass, ceramic tiles, marble, gold smalti, you will discover each piece has its own
character. In Marleen's beautiful and well equipped atelier, you wll learn how to make mirrors, frames, terracotta vases, candleholders,
and one day possibly make your own table or chair. (15hours)

Marleen Lacroix has started "Mosaic Lacroix" in her atelier, creating many beautiful wall and furniture pieces.
She has studied in her native Belgium and has a natural gift of putting colors together.
For the last 5 years she focused on Mosaics having taken specialized courses in London, Amsterdam and Ravenna (Italy). Check out www.mosaic.lu for samples of her work.
