Through photographs, stories, humor, facts and some walks, you will follow Luxembourg's vagaries of medieval politics to present century. How did it manage to survive despite being surrounded by voracious neighbors?
David Heal's passionate accounts of the history of this steadfast region will give you insight to where you live, everywhere you visit, as well as supplying you with intriguing conversational topics. The course includes a few walking excursions! (16 hours total)

The author of hundreds of articles on the subject. He has given lectures to many local groups and clubs over the years, and has been heard on BBC RADIO 4. David also organizes private group tours and day trips.
